NUKON CUT LINE features programmable beam quality through innovative all-fiber technology.
The quick adjustment of the laser dot size optimizes machine performance for all metals and thicknesses. Users can switch from small beams of dot size for maximum optical intensity – ideal for thin material cutting and for nitrogen treatment – to large doughnut-shaped beams used to cut thick material with CO2-like edge quality.
CUT LINE enables the development of many flexible machines and tools so that workshops and factories maximize their competitive advantage. They no longer have to choose between buying multiple instruments, adopting lower performance than existing instruments, or using sophisticated, expensive and fragile optical technologies or beam-combining methods.
In the past, the laser beam was set at 50, 100 and 150 microns, according to customer requirements based on material thickness. With the new technology developed by NUKON engineers, we now produce our machines with built-in parameters for a self-adjusting laser beam diameter for any thickness.
With our new Cutline system, we provide integrated laser beam diameters for different thicknesses and materials.
Exceptional reliability and durability, even when processing highly reflective materials. With competing lasers, the treatment of metals such as copper, aluminium, gold and silver is highly problematic as they reflect most of the light back to the laser, which will either destroy it or turn it off when trying to protect itself. Each new Nukon laser incorporates proprietary technology that keeps it running smoothly and continuously, virtually immunizing against back reflection.
